I'm excited to be presented with several custom covers for my book, Silenced. I wanted to give you all a preview of my favorites so far. What do you think?

I love the first one.

Ooo, I really like both of them! The first one looks more like a horror novel, though...

Okay, so first cover is really menacing. I thought (because I can't make out the type on the bottom of the cover - it's blurry to me) that this might be a book about a serial killer or a thriller. So that's the vibe it gave me. Creepy, scary, menacing, murder vibe.

The second at a quick glance made me think at first the girl had runny clown make up on. (With just a quick glance.) Then I noticed the cuts on her arm. And then I noticed the blurb at the bottom. I think that picture might be more effective if it was pulled up closer to the girl or even - maybe - was a picture of her arm.

I don't know, that's just my impression. I really dig the color palette, the blurb is great, and I like the type face in both. The first might be the most effective, but people will be able to see that blurb or they might get the wrong impression about the story and think it's a thriller.

I like the first one. The second is too dark?

I think the first one is better. It took me a few seconds to realise what it actually was and that makes it more interesting.

The second one looks a bit too copy-and-paste'esque for my liking.

The first one really grabs my attention. I think there is too much going on in the second, though I admit I still like it, too. both very creepy, but #1 is an eye-grabber
